This Cayman restoration project is documented with an overall hull photograph and close-up views of the finished gelcoat. The photographs show the gloss and reflections after restoration, including the surrounding greenery reflected along the hull.

Freeman gelcoat restoration
& decal ghosting correction.
The problem: removed graphics left visible marks and differences in the gelcoat finish on this Freeman.
The process: taped test sections and staged gelcoat correction helped assess the finish and work on blending the remaining decal ghosting. Each area was inspected as correction progressed.
What these photos show: surface inspection and reflections during correction, before the final polish and protection. They document the work in progress.
For a similar finish, start with a gelcoat assessment and test spot. Afterwards, scheduled washing, waxing and polishing helps keep the boat cared for.
